A good search gets more precise as it goes. Chris brings financial discipline, patient comparison and a close reading of the home to every decision.

In Chris’s words
“My job is to help you see what the asking price doesn’t tell you.”
My background is in business. I hold an MBA, and I use it. Knowing what a house sold for down the street matters. I also want to understand why.
I follow the wider economy: how interest-rate decisions can affect borrowing, how migration shapes demand, and what those changes might mean for a neighbourhood over time. Real estate happens inside an economy. I pay attention to both.
Then I look closely at the home itself. Does the asking price stand up to the evidence? How long has it been on the market? Which comparable actually compares? I watch the local market closely because the details can change the decision.
Whether this is your first purchase, an investment or a move to the Island, I’ll give you an honest second opinion. If a property isn’t right, I’ll say so. If it makes sense to wait, we’ll talk about that too. Trust is something I try to earn on every call, every showing and every offer.

A close look at the numbers and the assumptions behind them. Purchase costs, ongoing expenses, potential income and resale considerations belong in the same conversation.

When you can’t be here, Chris can be your eyes on the ground and your honest second opinion. Local context, a careful look at the property and a clear account of what he finds.
The working order
Five stages, with enough room to change your mind when the evidence changes.
We turn budget, timing and daily life into a useful search, with room for the brief to change.
Recent sales and current competition establish what the asking price does and does not tell us.
We compare condition, setting and value while the details are still fresh enough to be useful.
Financing, inspection, title and documents get the time and specialist attention they require.
Price, dates, subjects and leverage are considered together before anything is signed.
Useful before we meet
A useful first conversation
Chris can help make the search smaller, clearer and more useful from the beginning.
