Jack Point is a 5 km (there and back) trail that runs along the coast parallel with the Duke Point Ferry Highway Connector.
This enjoyable hike gives access to captivating beaches with glorious views of the Nanaimo River estuary, downtown Nanaimo, Protection Island and Gabriola Island. An amazing location to view the sunset and you will also very likely see sea lions, harbour porpoises and bald eagles soaring overhead.
Definitely a trail to discover or if you have been before to re-discover. October is a particularly beautiful time to go.
Happy hiking!
